The 4B movement stands for Bihon (no marriage), Bichulsan (no childbirth), Biyeonae (no romance), and Bisekseu (no sex with men). This radical feminist movement arose and gained significant attention in South Korea as a way to resist patriarchal policies and violence against women.
In response to Donald Trump’s election as U.S. President and his controversial, misogynistic comments and policies that threaten women's rights, many women in the U.S. have started campaigning for and adopting the 4B movement.
